Welcome! My name's Michelle and I'm the creator of Retrobutterfly. Australia is home for me and I live in a small town on the Queensland coast with my beloveds.
I'm a vintage hunting, picker who loves to find the most authentic pieces and hear the story behind them. Every piece has a story to tell, a life well lived and memories embedded in them. I'm a jeans and tee gal with simplistic styling taste.
Retrobutterfly is the home to my passion of vintage and retro. Picking, scavenging, rummaging, treasure hunting....bum up, head first into a pile of old stuff is where you'll find me and I love it! The look, the feel, the smell (well...maybe only sometimes) and the quality of vintage, can't be compared to anything else. I also collaborate with some awesome pickers who find the most amazing vintage in the U.S.!
Excited to also be supporting, collaborating with and stocking a few small business labels from across the globe. Quality products that aren't mass produced and have come from some hard working ladies, building their own empires. I'm stoked to be working with these ladies and supporting small business!
